Safe
The community did a good job of keeping my mom safe and there have been no cases of Covid-19. They don't communicate with the resident's families well enough. The food could be a little better as far as specific diets for patients. Also when I brought food in the other day to eat with my family... Our mother needed advanced care and The Branches was able to provide that, if it was not for The Branches and their staff our loved one would be at a nursing home right now. The atmosphere is very fun and they have a lot of social activities for the residents to participate in.

Who runs this service
The staff is responsive, communicative, cheerful, thoughtful and dedicated. From welcoming and informative greeters at the front desk, to the kitchen staff and activity planners, administrators and maintenance staff, everyone is dedicated to providing a pleasant and meaningful experience for the residents. Very nice facility, Mom went here for rehab and had the best care- I would choose again (hopefully won't need it though). Sunrise of Wayland is the best place I have ever seen, we had a very positive experience. They made everything better for as long as they could and he thrived here. Seeing them smile and being part of moments where they share a lovely thought or reminisce about their lives has been wonderful and makes me think of the words “Love what you do, and you never work a day in your life”. I feel very honoured to be joining the team at Southborough Nursing Home and am looking forward to getting to know all of the wonderful staff and residents, and learning about their life experiences. I completed my Master’s in Adult Nursing at King’s College London and previously studied for my undergraduate degree in Health and Environmental Sciences at UCL. I have experience in many care and hospital settings and previously as Deputy Manager in a Residential Home in Newbury.
The communication between the staff and the family could be better. We continue to support individuals who may be feeling isolated, as well as those who are in need of nursing or respite care. Specialist care designed to meet the challenges faced by people living with dementia. Accommodation, meals, and assistance with personal care and medication. It has been a wonderful time and experience working as a passionate administrator at Southborough Nursing Home, the home which provides very high care standards.
